Celebrity/Runway inspired XMAS Looks.

Lots of greens, golds, reds and silvers and neutrals for the perfect XMAS inspired look which is still very celebratory yet subtle but still super glamorous. My fave look for XMAS would comprise of silvery green eyeshadow, coral coloured lips, pink blush and pearl pink lipgloss.

What I want for XMAS: A make up filled Traincase!

I really, really, really want a large professional make up traincase and fingers crossed I get one! I have a small leopard print one but I would love a larger traincase like the Bobbi Brown one with the pink leather outer layer as it is very chic and very girly yet still works well with the makeup. What is on your XMAS wishlist?

Get inspired: Runway looks of the day.

Hi everyone,

These are a few metallic Runway looks that have a very OTT effect even though they aren't extremely hard looks. I recommend doing these looks using a thick eye pencil or shade sticks for that bold effect which will contrast nicely to nude lip colour. Have fun!

Make Up Collective Haul.

Today I went out shopping for some quick affordable make up pieces to create amazing looks on a budget. In total, I bought over ten items and I will list them below:

- Three L.A. Colors trios: $2.99 each.

I bought three eye shadow trios by L.A. colors for a quick make up fix. The The colours which came along in each trio pack include White Ice/Baby Pink/Tidal Wave (This trio is made up of pastel/dusty shades which are perfect for more subtle make up styles such as pale eyes), Blondie/Citrus Lime/Blue Satin (This trio is perfect for tropical and exotic looks- very glam for the summer season!) and finally; Copper Glaze/Gold Digger/Royal Violet (These tones look great for anyone who has olive to dark skin making the look very sexy and colorful). These are very pigmented making them perfect as a gloss over for the eyes as they are quite powdery and smooth for application.

- Eleven NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils: $3.99 each.I always debate in my head whether I choose to splurge on M.A.C shadesticks or NYX eye pencils. Because I was on a tight budget, it only seemed natural that I choose the NYX pencils- one of each color starting from Strawberry Milk, Horse Radish, French Fries etc. for that instant glammed up look. NYX products are really good quality for their prices. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are very smooth and take some time to warm up in order to color the eye lid however for the small price, it is totally worth it. The metallic sheen is subtle and adds a freshness to any look.

- One Pack of Four Diva Lip glosses: $7.95 pack
I like the packaging more than the actual product however it does make a cute gift idea. The lipglosses are packed in groups of four and include Lip Shimmers, Lip Plump treatment and Lip Moisturiser so its perfect for any girl on the go. They are smooth and not sticky and the sheen just pops out bursts of colour and smell absolutely delicious like strawberry and coconut and grape. Very tropical scents and colours and for the price, they are way gorgeous.

Anyways, that is all for now. I'll do a HOW-TO post very soon.
xoxo B&L.
